In Bergen, Buekorps (boys brigade) have existed for more than 150 years. The most characteristic about buekorps is that they march in the streets of Bergen during the springtime. The members are between 7 and 20 years of age, and they manage their own organization without interference from adults. There are today 15 active buekorps, and it is Fjeldets Bataljon you can see in the pictures below.
